Incubations
Incubations turn an early idea into a product direction that is concrete enough for a first implementation attempt. They preserve conclusions that a member has confirmed, not raw discussion, progress logs, or every research result.
Each incubation lives at incubations/<slug>/index.md. Its overview is the
current truth: the proposition, strongest case for and against it, focus,
assumptions, evidence state, stage, and next decision. Use a stable, concise,
ASCII lowercase kebab-case slug.
Additional content grows only when needed:
research/contains substantial, reusable synthesis organized around a decision question.decisions.mdis a chronological decision log created after the first material decision.build-brief.mddefines the first implementation after the incubation reachesready-to-try.
Do not create empty directories or placeholder pages. Keep raw discussion and progress updates outside Loom, distinguish evidence from interpretation, and record material conclusions only after a member confirms them.
